Birth Alarm Premium is a smooth, reliable, and easily installed foal alarm that, as soon as it detects the mare lying on her side, which is one of the most common positions during foaling as it makes it easier for the horse to push, alerts you and ensures that you get there in time.
The foaling alarm consists of two components, a transmitter and a receiver. 7.6 seconds after the transmitter has identified the side-lying foaling position, it sends a signal to the (up to four different) programmed phone numbers. When your mobile phone receives the signal, you know the foal may be on its way and can go out to assist.
Since approximately 15 percent of all pregnant mares sleep lying on their side, Birth Alarm Premium also has a special function that identifies the situation and distinguishes between sleeping position and the start of foaling.
The transmitter can be attached to both a halter and an anti-roll girth, depending on what suits you and your horse best. A SIM card is required for the transmitter to send the signal to your mobile phone, SIM card not included.
